Shanghai Dow Center
The new Dow Center, which will house up to 1,800 employees, will become the business and innovation hub for Dow in Asia Pacific.
It will be comprised of a state - of - the - art research and development (R&D) facility as well as an information technology (IT) center, together with other service and support facilities.
The new R&D facility - to be supported by hundreds of scientists - will include over 60 laboratories dedicated to developing innovative solutions for a wide range of industries vital for human progress such as building and construction, automotive, human health, and personal care.
The new IT Center will provide leading edge IT services and work processes to support Dow’s operations not only in China but around the world.
Dow Construction Chemicals also opened a world class ‘Concrete Application Development Center’ in Shanghai in July 2011. The lab facility is located in the heavy lab section of the Shanghai Dow Center.
