Gypsum Based Joint Filler
For filling of plaster board joints, gypsum based joint fillers are used - either in combination with a tape or without. WALOCEL™ cellulose ethers once more perform as multifunctional additives. Their water retention properties increase open time; furthermore, they impart good mixing properties, workability and adhesion. Joint fillers containing WALOCEL products resist shrinkage and dry with a homogenous surface. Through increased water retention they also enhance bonding to plaster boards.
DOW Latex Powders (DLP) are used in order to further increase bonding strength.
