Cellulosic Thickeners

Cellulosic thickeners from Dow Construction Chemicals can be used to thicken and stabilize water-based coatings. With a range of molecular weights and thickening efficiencies, CELLOSIZE™ hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) polymers help coatings flow during application, yet resist sagging once applied. In addition, the products' nonionic nature provides wide formulation latitude, yields robust and reproducible thickening performance, and offers good heat and shelf life stability.
