RHOPLEX™ EC-3100 Acrylic Emulsion Polymer

RHOPLEX™ EC-3100 is a 100 percent acrylic emulsion polymer designed for use in elastomeric roof coating basecoats to help extend the life of thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roofing membranes. Ideal for use over weathered TPO membranes, coatings made from RHOPLEX™ EC-3100 have very good adhesion and resistance to blistering, even under extended moisture conditions.

When properly formulated and applied, coatings based on RHOPLEX™ EC-3100 offer these features:

• Excellent adhesion
• Resistance to blistering under extended moisture conditions
• 50 g/L VOC (volatile organic compounds)
• Excellent flexibility at temperatures as low as -15 ºF (-26 ºC)
• User friendly, cleans up with soap and water
• Excellent dirt pick-up resistance when paired with RHOPLEX™ EC-1791 or RHOPLEX™ EC-3000 based commercial roof coating topcoat.
